Intermediate Division
Levels 4 - 6 (ages 7 and up)
Intermediate Division classes are designed for children who have a passion for dance and want to develop their skills to the next level. Dancers will continue to progress their classical ballet technique while also having opportunities to round out their dance training with elective classes in Tap, Jazz, Modern and Competitive Dance. Ladies of appropriate ability and readiness will be invited to begin Pointe Technique in Level 6.
Advanced Division
Levels 7-9
Advanced Division classes focus on high quality ballet instruction and are intended for students interested in a serious study of dance (minimum requirement: three days per week). The syllabus has been carefully designed to maximize individual growth and includes a comprehensive selection of electives in Modern Dance, Jazz, Pilates, Repertory, Men’s Technique, Competitive Dance and more. Dancers in these levels have multiple public performance opportunities throughout the academic year as well as annual opportunities to participate in special workshops and master classes with visiting professional guest artists.
Intermediate & Advanced Division dancers can expect to spend between one to three years in each level. Placement and promotion are at the discretion of the Artistic Directors.
